Basic Field Report Writing Workshop

Nature Study Sub-Center, Khebeythang is conducting two-day training workshop on basic field report writing from 21.11.2018 to 22.11.2018 to the park staff of Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park (JSWNP). The staff of the Chendebji Dy. Park Range Office, JSWNP is attending the program. Park staff were in Black Mountain Landscapes to conduct 10 days high altitude patrolling: monitor animals and identify threats such as poaching and habitat destruction.

The workshop is conducted with the objective to share their past experiences on field report writing and orientate them with the basic elements 5Ws (What, Where, Who, When and Why) of the field report. The workshop will also remind the park staffs on modus operandi to be observed while conducting patrolling and useful information to record for the report writing e.g. photograph, GPS location, description of habitat, threats etc.
