The Resident Coordinator of United Nations in Bhutan visits the Institute

The honorable Gerald Daley, Resident Coordinator of United Nations in Bhutan visited the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environmental Research.  Mr. Gerald Daley emphasized on great qualities of Bhutanese people and quoted His Majesty the King's 2017 Royal University of Bhutan convocation speech of possessing five qualities of  Sincerity, Mindfulness, Astuteness, Resilience, and Timelessness.  He also stressed on building longterm human resources especially in the field of Climate Change. 

Honorable Resident Coordinator is en route to Mongar for official visit. He was also briefed on the research and training programs held at the Institute.
