The Constitution of Bhutan 2008, the article 7, under the Fundamental Rights section, the third clause states “a Bhutanese citizen shall have the right to information” and the fifth clause states “there shall be freedom of the press, radio and television and other forms of dissemination of information, including electronic”. The word “electronic” is referred as information sharing through electronic tecnhology and the shared information can be in the form of electronic formats.
